Post-TI 2024 Changes: Patch 7.37d Nerfs Glepnir, Auras, and Heroes

As we move past The International 2024, patch 7.37d has arrived, bringing further nerfs to Glepnir, aura items, and several popular heroes. With PGL Wallachia Season 2, BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, and DreamLeague Season 24 on the horizon, Dota 2 was bound to see significant changes following TI 2024.

Today, patch 7.37d dropped, introducing substantial nerfs to multiple items and heroes frequently picked during the tournament. Alongside these changes, the Crownfall Collector’s Cache II has been released, featuring fantastic sets for heroes such as Crystal Maiden, Undying, and Rubick.

Items

Bracer/Null Talisman/Wraith Band

The first major changes affect Bracer, Null Talisman, and Wraith Band. These items have received a significant nerf as they no longer double their bonuses after 25 minutes. This alteration may lead to fewer of these items being built and retained throughout a game.

Glepnir

Glepnir has been nerfed again after similar adjustments in patches 7.37b and 7.37c. The item is now more expensive, and its effects have been weakened across the board.

Aura Items

Several aura items, including Arcane Boots, Pipe of Insight, Solar Crest, and Crimson Guard, have been hit with nerfs. These adjustments range from increased total build costs to reduced active durations, bonuses, and regeneration effects.

Heroes

Tusk

Tusk, a hero with a high pick rate during TI 2024, received changes. One of his Facets has been nerfed, while the other has been slightly buffed.

Mirana

Mirana’s Facet, Solar Flare, was heavily nerfed in patch 7.37d. Additionally, her Aghanim’s Shard saw minor tweaks, making it weaker in certain scenarios.

Naga Siren

Naga Siren’s Facet adjustments include changes to mana costs per level, while her ultimate received a significant nerf, reducing its maximum HP regeneration.

Many other heroes, including Lone Druid, Nature’s Prophet, and Visage, were also affected by nerfs in patch 7.37d. As we look forward to upcoming tournaments like PGL Wallachia Season 2, we can expect new meta trends to emerge.

Patch 7.37d has introduced a plethora of nerfs, buffs, and adjustments, setting the stage for the next wave of competitive Dota 2. With key tournaments on the horizon, it won’t be long before we see how these changes impact the evolving meta.
